Pharmacies to remain operational amid coronavirus scare in Assam

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: In view of the coronavirus scare, the Chemists and Druggists Association of Assam (CDAA), on Monday, announced that all its shops/establishments will be open to ensure that there is no disruption on the part of the supply of medicines to the needy patients. The CDAA requested its stockists, dealers and retailers to make all necessary medicines available at reasonable prices to the public. The body said it strictly opposes over charging or hoarding at this crucial moment in the interest of the nation. The All India Organization of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD) have also issued directions in the same line.
