SBI Officers Association NE Circle calls for safety measures in view of COVID 19

STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: The State Bank of India Officers Association (North Eastern Circle), on Monday, appealed to the government and the administration to initiate corrective measures and provide safety equipment at various branches in the north-eastern region at the earliest to tackle the risks associated with the outbreak of coronavirus. The bankers' body stated that they are facing several constraints in the course of their daily activities, like sufficient number of hand sanitizers, masks, gloves, etc. In a release, the body said that they have been rendering their services for the public at large by jeopardizing their own lives. We have explored all the possible avenues from our end to get the mentioned safety equipments but all our efforts proved to be futile.
