STAFF REPORTERGUWAHATI: The Dispur Police, on Wednesday, arrested a person with 1,200 bottles of cough syrup in Lakhimi Nagar. The cough syrup bottles were recovered from a car parked at the Lord Enclave. The accused, Mehdi Alam, was a tenant at the Lord Enclave and is a native of Nagaon. According to reports, he brought the bottles from West Bengal and was planning to sell them in Nagaon.
