Govt schools in NK face acute shortage of teachers

The problem of shortage of qualified teachers is not confined to government schools alone. Similarly, the total number of sanctioned posts of teachers in high schools is 10,175 and 1,191 are vacant.Chikkodi district has the highest number of vacancies in primary schools as 2,508 posts are yet to be filled.
