Dharwad/Hubballi: The University of Agricultural Sciences in Dharwad is now equipped with a new centre to provide accurate information on weather. In the recent past, farmers, particularly in North Karnataka, have been facing the wrath of nature. It would then send that data back to Bengaluru, which would disseminate it to farmers through various channels. During monsoon, gusty winds, powerful lightning too are playing spoilsport causing huge damage to life and property.
