KIMS to restart PG course in radiology after 18 years

Hubballi: Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences will soon restart the postgraduate course in radiology after a gap of 18 years. The PG radiology students will help doctors at work. The Medical Council of India had withdrawn recognition to the course in 2000 citing lack of facilities and staff. Hence, KIMS purchased a 128-slice CT Scan machine which cost Rs 6 crore and it started functioning in September last year.
