Prior to this programme, Minister in charge of the district Vinay Kulkarni will inaugurate the new Sahitya Bhavan building and Pralhad Joshi, MP, will lay the foundation stone for construction of open-air theatre, the release said.
During the first session, talk and discussion on the Vachana literature, media and literature, social media will be held.
This will be followed by discussion on children’s literature and textbook syllabus.
A talk on folk literature will be held and this will be followed by cultural programme wherein folk songs and dance will be held.

Chikmath will inaugurate the poet’s meet and Ashok Shettar will preside over it.
Rangaraj Vanadurg will deliver key-note address.
A total of 25 poets will be rendering poems.

Airsang will also recite some of his poems on this occasion.
Besides, a session on women literature, ‘resources and its utilisation’ will also be held.
