According to the police the deceased — Vamshi Krishna (20), Sunil (20) and Sai Krishna (20) of Kothawada area in Warangal — had gone to Mandaripet in Shayampet mandal to attend a marriage. According to reports Vamshi Krishna first entered the tank to swim and drowned as he could not gauge the depth of the waters. On seeing him struggling to come out of the waters, Sunil and Sai Krishna jumped in and they too could not swim out. The bodies of the deceased youth were shifted to Parkal government hospital for autopsy and were later handed over to their family members..
