NIT expels 5 students, suspends 2 for 2 years

Sc (Applied Mathematics) were suspended from the campus for a period of two years. According to in-charge Registrar K.

Laxma Reddy, students Dheeraj Kumar and Amit Yadav studying IVth semester M.

Sc (Tech), Pankaj Kumar, Aliwarish and Nitesh Kumar studying II Semester M.

Sc (Chemistry) were among those expelled from the campus. Apart from this, the institute campus, including Academic, Administrative and Hostel areas, is declared out of bounds for the students against whom disciplinary action has been taken,” the Registrar said. The students were found guilty under sub section (iii) of section four of Students’ conduct and disciplinary code annexed to PG (Science and Management) rules and regulations of the institute..
