The administration is gearing up to declare the district as open defecation free (ODF) by June 2, on the anniversary day of State formation. Out of the 2.13 lakh toilets that need to be constructed in the district, almost 1.8 lakh have been completed. Recently Mr.

Bhupal Reddy and others. To give a big push to the programme, the administration has decided to hold constituency-level meeting at Zaheerabad and Andol in the first week of next month. Narayanakhed is yet to construct about 18,000 toilets, and Zaheerabad yet to be ground 9,000 toilets and Andol follows them with about 7,000 units to be launched..
