Water shortage looms over Karimnagar town

The officials of the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation (MCK) were planning to install booster pumps to lift water from the dead storage level in case the water level plummets, however, they were not sure whether they would get the assured water in the dead storage level or it would be all silted up. The people of the town have not faced any water problem for some four decades when the only source of water to the town — the LMD reservoir — was built.
