By having the additional benefit of 15 marks, the candidates would score 46 marks overall.”Terming the selection process as an eyewash she added: “Just a pass applicant is able to eliminate a 70 percentile candidate points out that this selection process is just a farce and a cloak in disguise for regularizing in service candidates into regular appointees.” As a result, a meritorious applicant scoring 70 per cent marks in academics will get 45.5 marks as 65 percent of aggregate marks, while an inservice contract applicant who has got passing marks of 50 percent and 65 per cent of aggregate comes to 32.5 marks. With these new recruitments 159 secondary health institutions under the Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Pradishad (TVVP) are expected to extend speciality care in districts. But challenging the process the petitioner stated that, “applicants under contract service are more than the notified vacancies, as such and fresh candidates do not stand a chance even if they are far more meritorious than those in the contract service..
