Telangana rains: CM asks officials to be alert

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao , on Thursday, instructed the State official machinery, to be alert and vigilant in view of the of heavy rains all across , in the coming couple of days.The CM, on Thursday, reviewed the effect of rains and floods in Adilabad and a few other districts of Telangana and also spoke to Chief Secretary S K Joshi and DGP Mahender Reddy about the same.The CM has ordered that the district-level special officers, who have been already appointed in view of heavy rains, should monitor the flood situation in their respective districts and take action and provide necessary relief and rehabilitation, in close coordination with local officers, wherever necessary.Rao has also instructed Ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs of the state to monitor the relief works in their respective districts and constituencies in coordination with the police and other officers..
