Hyderabad: BJP MLA NVSS Prabhakar today asked the CEO to check veracity of voters’ names in the list of electoral rolls and fix them immediately. He complained to the Election Commission that there are large scale irregularities of deletion of voters’ names, duplicate names and irrelevant data in the electoral rolls. I brought to the notice of CEO on the large scale deletion of the voters and the latter sought two days of time to check, he said. He led a team of BJP leaders and called on CEO Rajath Kumar at Secretariat here. “We will approach the EC if the CEO failed to rectify all the issues pertaining to the electoral rolls, which need to be corrected”, he said..
