Summary:

HYDERABAD: Former Congress speaker K R Suresh Reddy joined the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on September 12 but his name figured in three committees of the Congress announced on Wednesday for the forthcoming polls in Telangana. The Congress was taken aback at the sudden development when Suresh Reddy announced on September 7 that he would join the TRS. At a meeting held at the TRS party headquarters, Telangana Bhavan, Municipal Administration minister K T Rama Rao had welcomed Suresh Reddy and his supporters into the party. This is an epic error,” a TRS leader said commenting on the error.Suresh Reddy had joined the TRS in the presence of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. K T Rama Rao himself went to Suresh Reddy’s house and invited him to join the TRS.Even as the announcement of Congress committees by the party’s national general secretary Ashok Gehlot did the rounds on social media with Suresh Reddy’s name circled to point out the mistake, the Congress party did not put out any clarification on the error..
