M-sand maker to double capacity, grow footprint

In the current fiscal, the turnover and net profit are expected to increase to ?250 crore and ?20 crore respectively. The firm now has 11 plants where sand is made from rocks. The manufactured sand that the Hyderabad-headquartered firm sells under Robosand brand was a substitute for river sand and cost-effective, he said. The total capacity of the facilities – four in Hyderabad, two in Nagpur and one each in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Chennai, Delhi and Vijayawada – is 3.5 lakh tonnes per month..
