Hyderabad: The National Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy of the Communist Party of India has pointed out that all forms of instant talaq are already declared “invalid and illegal” by the Supreme Court of India. In a statement today, it said that subsequently government introduced a bill in Parliament and it is now pending before Rajya Sabha. Instead of waiting for the select committee report, the government has, in haste promulgated an ordinance which again will have to be put before Parliament and Rajya Sabha for approval..
