HYDERABAD:Over 17,000 policemen will be deployed for final procession of Ganesh idols for immersion on Sunday. Apart from 13 units of Greyhounds, two units of Octopus will also be part of bandobust . Emergency response teams like Vajra vehicle, gas squad, water canon and QRT will also be stationed at strategic locations and immersion points. Around 14,500 idols from Hyderabad, Rachakonda, Cyberabad commissionerates and Ranga Reddy district are expected to be immersed in Hussainsagar.
