MGBS Metro station to be Asia's biggest

HYDERABAD: The MGBS interchange Metro rail station, which connects Corridor I (Miyapur-L B Nagar) and Corridor II (JBS–Falaknuma) of Hyderabad Metro Rail is one of the biggest Metro stations in Asia, the authorities said on Sunday.Spread over a length of 140 metres and a width of 45 metres, the station has been specially designed. All platforms of MGBS bus depot will be connected to the metro rail station with a skywalk while another skywalk will connect the station to Chaderghat. The area will be developed as an international tourist destination,” he added.On Sunday, Metro Rail ran till midnight in view of the final day of Ganesh immersion. The Chaderghat skywalk will be 20 ft long.
