Hyderabad: Some miscreants near Lal Darwaza chanted Jai Shree Ram slogans when the AIMIM MLA candidate from Charminar Mr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan was campaigning in the poll-bound state Telangana. He was busy with his election campaign, and all of the sudden the locals of that area started chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’ following which the convoy was stopped. According to the local media reports, his convoy was stopped near Sudha Talkies, Lal Darwaza of Charminar constituency. However, their attempt to disrupt the peace in the city went in vain as the situation was brought under control. It is to be noted that there was no police protection for the election campaign..
