AP: Hungry workers, cops fume at sports event

Speaking to TOI, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) chief executive officer Himanshu Shukla said, “We have increased the capacity of serving, now there is no issue for dinner.” If we are asked to have food after everybody finished eating, then obviously we don’t get a single morsel,” Ranganayaki (name changed), one of the sanitary workers, told TOI.The caterers blamed the food shortage on “several outsiders” eating away the food meant for the staff posted at the venue.
