TRS government to create 2 new districts

HYDERABAD: The TRS government has decided to create two more districts— Mulug and Narayanpet, taking the total number of districts in the state from the present 31 to 33. The CM also said Gundala mandal in Jangoan district should be merged into Yadadri-Bhuvangiri district.In accordance with his electoral promises, every person on completion of 57 years would be provided old-age pension. After the rejig, the state would have 33 districts, whose sum is six. The CM instructed chief secretary SK Joshi to draft modalities pertaining to it and decide on the process of identifying eligible persons. KCR also directed Tiwari to start the process of formation of Korutla as a new revenue division and Choutuppal mandal in Nalgonda district and Mallampally mandal in Bhupalapally district..
