Gandhi nursing outsourcing staff threaten indefinite stir for salaries

Hyderabad: The outsourcing nursing employees of Gandhi Hospital on Monday stopped work for two hours and staged dharna from 8 am to 10 am in protest against non-payment of their salaries for the last three months. AITUC Telangana Medical Contract Employees & workers union president M Narsimha said the outsourcing employees were working on a paltry and have not been receiving their salaries for the past three months. He also warned that they will be constrained to go on indefinite strike if their appeals for salaries fell on deaf ears. He also said they have been organizing protests and dharnas every three months for payment of their salaries.
