Hyderabad: The Central Swachh Bharat Mission today announced “Swachchata Excellency” award for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. The GHMC, which has 10 lakh population, was the only metropolitan city in the country got this award. GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin expressed happiness over the city getting the “Swachchata Excellency” award within ten days after getting ODF+ award from the Central Swachh Bharat Mission.
