HYDERABAD: In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Digital India’ mission, railways introduced ‘magic box’ on the Kacheguda-KSR Bengaluru Express.Through this facility, passengers can access free Wi-Fi and enjoy movies on their personal devices during their journey. The in-built entertainment modules aim at preventing the misuse of free Internet , so that no one watches any objectionable stuff. Passengers will get access to nearly 500 hours of entertainment packages stored in the magic box.However, the magic box will not allow people to download content other than those stored. This is the first train under South Central Railway (SCR) to have the Wi-Fi enabled infotainment system, which is available on New Delhi Shatabdi Express, Mumbai Rajdhani Express and Lucknow Express.Officials of SCR said that the magic box has been installed on a trial basis in the five air-conditioned coaches of the train..
