Zafar Mahmood informed that when he was studying at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) there was no such center to help Muslim candidates. The candidates are selected on a merit basis and they are sent to various coaching centers. He further said that as a member of Sachar Committee, he felt the need to help the candidates.
