Around 11.20am on Wednesday, the Maruti Celerio (TS 07 GM 4666) driven by the victim, G Venkata Giri, senior manager with Gangavaram Port Ltd, caught fire at Sultanpur. Other than the metal frame and metal parts of the vehicle, everything was gutted by the fire . Giri was burnt alive in his vehicle.As several witnesses saw Venkata Giri puling over the blazing car from right to left lane of the ORR, police were trying to figure out why he was unable to get out of the vehicle.
