Stage set for Lok Sabha Polling in Telangana; First after Reorganization

Hyderabad: Post reorganization, the State of Telangana will see its first General Election on 11th April, 2019. Apart from state police, personnel from five other states and 145 companies of central forces were deployed for ensuring peaceful polling in the State. The authorities have made elaborate arrangements for the polling on Thursday. Out of the 17 constituencies, three are reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and two for Scheduled Tribes (ST).A total of 34,603 Polling Stations have been set up across the State.
