Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar today instructed the GHMC Commissioner to immediately get all the pubs and restaurants inspected and ensure that they provide the required parking space as specified in the building rules. Kumar directed the GHMC Commissioner to take immediate action and furnish Action Taken Report to the government within a fortnight. Further, parking of these vehicles haphazardly on the road sides was not only causing traffic problems but also causing nuisance to the residents of the area. There are serious objections that some of these eateries have encroached upon the road margins and footpaths.
