Hyderabad: The much-awaited wet run of P 6 Kaleshwaram Pump House was successful by releasing waters today with CMO Secretary Smitha Sabharwal switching on by performing pujas. From there, the Godavari waters will reach reservoir in Lakshmipur and similarly they will be lifted to reach Mid Manair project. The motors are lifting the waters from Nandi Medaram Surgepool and the water will reach the reservoir as per previous plan. The project also gets importance for using 139 mw motor and arrangements are on for phase wise fixing of equipment besides setting up 124.4 mw at Medaram pump house. Out of seven dry runs planned, four are ready and one of them was launched today successfully..
