A+ A-Hyderabad: Noticing an offender was caught by police through CCTV footage, the residents of Prashanth Nagar in Vanasthalipuram have come forward to install 32 community CCTV cameras worth Rs. On Saturday Rachakonda Commissioner of Police, Mahesh Bhagwat inaugurated the community camera service room. Till July 20, 2019, 309 Community CCTV camera and 3514 Nenu Saitham Cameras are installed under the Vanasthalipuram Police Station limits. Further, the Rachakonda Commissinoerate requested to all the corporate bodies to take up the Corporate Social Responsibility for the installation of more CC cameras. Therefore the Sub-Inspectors are also been instructed by the Rachakonda Commissioner to identify the area and shopping establishments and to spread awareness to install the community cameras in their surroundings..
