Screening of ‘Ram Ke Naam’ triggers unrest in UoH, 6 detained

A+ A-Hyderabad: Screening of the controversial documentary, ‘Ram Ke Naam’ had triggered unrest on the campus of the University of Hyderabad. Six students belonging to the All India Students Association (AISA) and the Students Federation of India (SFI) were detained. It may be mentioned that police came into action after university administration reportedly complaint against the screening of the movie which was directed by Anand Patwardhan. However, the students of the University claimed that the university authorities had accorded permission for the screening of the movie.
