Cyberabad Commissionerate officials and helmet shop owners participating in a special drive for fake helmets here on Monday. Over, 40 helmet dealers participating in the drive have broken duplicate helmets and took oath to curb selling of low quality helmets. Meanwhile, helmet sellers in the city approached Traffic Police claiming that they would join hands with Police in curbing sale of such low quality and fake helmets. According to Cyberabad Traffic Police record, in 2019 (Up to October), out of 720 deaths in fatal accidents in Cyberabad, 388 deaths are involving two-wheeler riders and pillion riders.
