Kiran released a poster on “stop wastage of water and regularize your illegal water connection” on Wednesday. Mayor appealed to the citizens to utilize the opportunity given by the Government to regularize illegal water connection in the City by voluntary disclosure. Mayor said the HMWS&SB supplying water by drawing nearly 200 Km distance from Krishna and Godavari rivers. Out of this, nearly 37% of is unaccountable which is in the form of waste and illegal connection.
