A+ A-HYDERABAD: The open ground of the historic Mir Alam Eidgah which witnesses prayers only twice a year on the occasion of Eids, saw a massive gathering on Friday. Tiranga RallyThe Tiranga Rally was taken out under the aegis of the United Muslim Action Committee comprising various Muslim groups and headed by the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR). Million MarchThis is the second biggest protest in Hyderabad against CAA, NRC and NPR after the Million March which was organised on 4th January by 40 organisations and led by Mushtaq Malik, a socio-political activist. Last week’s Million March had about two lakh people at Dharna Chowk, Indra Park against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the National Population Register (NPR). Friday’s rally is also said to have been attended by nearly two lakh people..
