Telangana Faces Scarcity Of Oxygen Cylinders

Many states in the country are facing a shortage of oxygen, the situation is so bad that many states are totally dependent on their neighbouring states for oxygen.

Rajender on Friday admitted that the state is facing a scarcity of medical oxygen and the government is taking all steps to tackle the problems posed by the massive surge in Covid-19 cases.

Mentioning that the second wave is more intense than the outbreak last year, he appealed to the people to be vigilant and take all precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

He has advised people to not leave their homes.

However, the minister refused to implement section 144 in the state.

Talking to the press after inaugurating a paddy procurement centre at Huzurabad in Karimnagar district, he said that under the guidance of Chief Minister K.

Chandrashekhar Rao the state administration is working non-stop to stop the spread of Covid-19.

He said that people should follow the suggestions and guidelines issued by the authorities from time to time to fight the epidemic.

Telangana reported 3,840 cases on Friday, the highest single-day spike since the outbreak last year.
