The total number of active cases in Telangana has now reached 4.55 lakh.
In a bulletin providing data till 8 pm on May 2, the state government said that 1352 cases were received from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area, 483 from Rangareddy.
According to the bulletin, the number of infected people in the state has increased to 4,56,485.
At the same time, 3, 73,933 people have recovered from the infection, after 6206 more patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
The cumulative death toll has reached 2417 after 49 deaths in the last 24 hours.
According to the bulletin, there are 80,135 under-treatment patients in Telangana and more than 58 thousand samples were tested on Sunday.
A total of more than 1.31 crore samples have been tested so far.
