The covid-19 situation in India is deteriorating with every passing day, now the news of Covid-19 among lions has come to light after 8 lions showed symptoms of Covid-19 at the Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad.

The Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) told the officials of Nehru Zoological Park that 8 lions have been found positive for Covid-19 after an RT-PCR test on 29 April.

However, it has not been officially confirmed yet.

Dr.

Siddhanand Kukreti, director of the Zoological Park, has himself said that there are signs of Covid-19 in the lions.

Doctor Kukreti said, `it is true that the lions are showing symptoms of coronavirus but we are yet to get an RT-PCR report of these lions from CCMB.
