Telangana allows reopening of schools, colleges from July 1 in online mode, prohibits private schools from hiking fee

The Commissioner of Secondary Education, Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Commissioner of Technical Education, Director of School Education and Secretary of the State Council of Higher Education have been requested to take necessary action in this regard.

According to the order given, the total number of attendance of teaching staff in schools will be limited to 50% of the total strength.

The Telangana government has taken a big decision in a separate order.

According to this decision, all private unrecognized schools affiliated to state boards, CBSE, ICSE and other international boards have been instructed not to increase fees of any kind during the academic year 2021-22.

Schools can charge tuition fee only on monthly basis.

After this order of the state government, parents are expected to get a big relief.

Earlier, the Telangana government announced to end the Covid lockdown from Sunday (20 June) given the decline in the new cases of Covid-19.

Telangana is witnessing a decrease in the number of Covid cases as well as the positivity rate has come down significantly.

The cabinet decided to lift the lockdown after examining the reports provided by the health and medical authorities.
