Hyderabad, Sep 2 (PTI) Telangana on Thursday reported 313 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 6,58,689, while the death toll rose to 3,878 with two more fatalities.The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most number of cases with 77, followed by Warangal Urban (28) and Karimnagar (21) districts, a state government bulletin said, providing details as of 5.30 PM on Thursday.The number of recoveries outnumbered fresh cases on Thursday with 354 people recuperating from the infectious disease.
The cumulative number of recoveries till date was 6,49,002.The number of active cases was 5,809, the bulletin said.It said 71,304 samples were tested on Thursday and the total number of samples tested till date was 2,47,76,352.The samples tested per million population was 6,65,673.
