Disha Projet to help victims of violence

Summary:

The Disha Project is a partnership between UNDP, supported by IKEA Foundation, and police to assist its ‘Bharosa’ initiative. Bharosa is a support centre where women and children affected by all kinds of violence are provided medical, legal and psychological assistance. The agreement extends support to enable these women to learn marketable skills and connect with income opportunities. The agreement was signed between Hyderabad City Commissioner M.
