Residents followed strict rules during lockdown to contain spread of COVID 19 in Manipur

GUWAHATI: Residents of Manipur cooperated with authorities and followed lockdown rules to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the region. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old woman who tested positive for COVID-19 on March 23 has now recovered. The woman who had a travel history to the UK was undergoing treatment at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS). The second patient in the state is a man who attended the Tablighi Jamaat congregation at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi has tested positive for coronavirus. Manipur government has also decided to transfer a financial assistance of Rs.2000 from the CM's COVID-19 RELIEF FUND to the Bank accounts of each person who are stranded outside the State during the lockdown..
