Mandsaur firing: Former SHO appears before probe panel

INDORE: The then in-charge of Pipliyamandi police station Anil Singh Thakur on Wednesday appeared before the single-bench commission, which is leading a judicial probe into killing of five farmers in the Mandsaur police firing, to record his statements.The proceeding started at 11.30 am and lasted till 5 pm. The single-bench is likely to extend the ongoing proceedings to record statements of remaining 14 government witnesses including the then district magistrate, Swatantra Kumar Singh and the then superintendent of police (SP), OP Tripathi in days to come” Shah said.
