Bhopal family looted of Rs 60,000 by ‘Chaddi Baniyan’ gang

INDORE: Masked men suspected to be members of the ‘Chaddi Baniyan’ gang (a tribal community known for thefts) looted a family from Bhopal when they were on their way to Shirdi on Saturday.Based on the complaint of one Smita, a resident of Roshanpura in Bhopal, a case was registered against unidentified persons. The driver got down from the vehicle and was checking the tyre when suddenly some people accosted them and started threatening them using sharp edged weapons.They took away cash and jewellery worth Rs 60,000 from the family.
