Indore: The process for developing the much awaited walk-in aviary at Indore zoo has finally kick started. The aviary will be developed over 16,000 square feet land.The area within zoo has been earmarked for the aviary, where visitors can walk in and see exotic species of birds. While the species will be procured by the agency monitoring will be done by zoo,” Indore zoo in charge Uttam Yadav said.The walk-in aviary will have individual cages, where conditions apt to their habitat will be developed. A list of 22 such species has been made by the zoo to be kept in the aviary. Tender has been floated for roping in agency, which will not only construct bird cage but will also procure birds from foreign countries..
