INDORE: A roadside stage erected to welcome Dewas Congress candidate Jai Singh Thakur fell on Friday causing minor injuries to the party leaders.Thakur, who is contesting against BJP’s Gayatri Raje Puar , was taking part in a rally to the election office to file his nominations, when he was summoned on the roadside stage to speak.Congress leaders and his supporters rushed to the state to put garland on their leaders and get a photograph clicked.As the number of people increased, the stage could not take the weight and collapsed with Thakur and other leaders including Dewas district Congress president Manoj Rajani , party’s Hatpiplia candidate Manoj Choudhary and Bagali candidate Kamal Waskale , on it.Party sources said the leaders escaped with minor scratches and bruises..
