The railway has a staff of around 15 people while RPF cops are also stationed there and they also have made adequate arrangements of lights. INDORE: Nature-lovers’ stay in the railway’s rest house developed in Kalakund village is expected to be delayed, as lack of security arrangements and weak mobile network is posing hurdles before the railways to start the bookings. The rest house is built for developing Patalpani-Kalakund as heritage section and a heritage train has been started to encourage and benefit tourism in Malwa region. The railways have stationed two coaches, which have been converted into rest house, at an unused track at Kalakund railway station while the authority has also renovated its old rest house to offer the facility of lodging to the visitors. Despite making many other arrangements, the authority failed to pay attention over security of those staying at night as there always prevails a threat of wild animals at this popular picnic spot covered by dense forest.Besides, weak mobile network at this station can also isolate the visitors from rest of the world and prevent them from approaching help in case of emergency.Aforesaid issues were raised by the senior officials of the western railways and the concerned officials were instructed to start the bookings of the rest house only after making foolproof security arrangements for those who wanted to spend the night at this station.According to DRM RN Sonkar, staying night at this station will be a thrilling experience..
