Summary:
A two day philately exhibition was organized at the Pritamlal Dua auditorium by India post, titled ‘Ahilyapecks’. The postal stamps which were released with Mahatma Gandhi’s pictures were showcased at the exhibition. On the occasion the post office also released a new postal stamp dedicated to Ahilyabai Holkar , The matriarch of Indore . The exhibition was dedicated to the 150birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. A counter of my stamp was also set up in which people could get stamps of their own pictures printed..
