Indore: Mayor Malini Gaud on Saturday alleged delay in release of funds for development work by state government.“The corporation is dealing with shortage of funds for implementation of various development projects proposed under Smart City initiative. The complex has been proposed to be developed on premises of Marathi Middle School, Bhau Shinde Sports Ground and Indore Arts School. The project has been taken under Smart City initiative and a sum of Rs 20.75 crore would be spent on it.The complex will be built on a 14,132 sq ft land. A six storey building has been proposed with two auditoriums which will accommodate 300 visitors each. We have not received any fund after formation of Congress led government in state,” said Gaud.She was speaking to media persons at foundation stone laying ceremony of a multi-purpose art complex in MG Road area of city..
