Indore: Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) on Friday razed seven residential structures at Suraj Kothi in Nehru Park area of city.The structures were marked as dangerous and were demolished by civic body’s removal team. Two earth moving machines were also press into service to carryout removal drive. They could have collapsed anytime,” said Umesh Patidar a zonal officer with IMC.“The drive of removing old and dangerous structures will continue in coming days,” he added. It took around three hours for civic body staff to demolish all seven structures.IMC’s zonal officials said that occupants were already issued notices and vacated the houses before removal action. The structures belonged to the staff of high court.A team of some 25 staff and officials reached the area at around 10.30am..
